This project has some pretty cool potential but as of right not it just shows data from the San Francisco Bay Area.
Top Stops is an attempt to map out some of the best stopping points along favorite routes. The idea being that you might be on a new route but you’ll be able to find a refuel point.
Labs describes this as “The top 150 places in the San Francisco Bay Area to meet friends, have coffee or just checkout out the view.”
They do this by analyzing “stops of at least 5 minutes from Bay Area rides [that] are matched to the Foursquare database to find the best places to take a break.].
I really hope they finish this database!
